Anna Galiano

anna-galianoAnna Galiano is a Clinical Supervisor at the Florida Autism Treatment Center (Broward location). She is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst and has an M.A. in Psychology from the University of Social Sciences and Humanities that she earned in 2008. She completed her Behavior Analyst Professional Development Program from the Florida Institute of Technology.

Anna started her carrier as an occupational therapist in 2006. She was helping adults with physical, mental, and cognitive disorders to become more self-sufficient and improve their social and communication skills, which had a positive impact on their everyday life.

In 2012 Anna joined Behavior Analysis, Inc., to further her experience in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), facilitating learning and skill development for children with autism.

Since then she has worked in therapy centers, homes, schools, and community environments with children with autism and related disabilities of all ages conducting functional behavioral assessments, developing and implementing behavior intervention plans, as well as training and supervising parents and other professionals

Anna’s ultimate goal is to make a difference in each individuals’ live by providing high quality behavioral intervention services and implementing effective ABA strategies. Anna is also a current member of the Florida Association of Behavior Analysis.

Annabelle Sordo, M.S., Clinical Supervisor

Ms. Annabelle Sordo is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst and Clinical Supervisor at the Florida Autism Treatment Center located in Miami. Her primary responsibilities include providing direct behavior analysis services, training and supervising paraprofessional staff, training and discussing individual progress data with caregivers as well as developing treatment plans based on VB-MAPP, AFLS and ABLLS-R.

Annabelle graduated from Sage Graduate Schools in Troy, New York with a Master’s Degree in Applied Behavior Analysis and Autism. She has experience in verbal behavior programming, errorless learning, skill acquisition and direct instruction. With four years of experience under her belt, Annabelle has provided ABA services to children with developmental disabilities in therapy centers, homes and schools.

Annabelle’s main goal is to provide high quality behavioral intervention services to each individual and implement effective ABA strategies.

Belinda K. Shine, M.S. – BAT Behavior Specialist

Mrs. Belinda K. Shine is a Behavior Specialist with The Behavioral Education and Therapy Program and Parenting for Success Program which utilizes behavioral training and support in order to prevent children from entering the foster care system and provide behavioral training and support to foster families dealing with children who have a history of trauma and abuse.

Mrs. Shine began her career in community and human services in 1991 as a direct support professional in Upstate New York. Professionally, she has continued to diversify and expand her skills and knowledge to include such positions as Residential Site Manager, Case Manager, In-home Support Supervisor, and Quality Assurance Supervisor. Mrs. Shine’s interest in behavioral studies began during her work in intensive behavior focused residential group homes.

Prior to joining Behavior Analysis and Therapy Inc., Mrs. Shine worked as a Behavior Specialist for a therapeutic child welfare licensing agency where she provided behavioral training and support to foster parents. Additionally, her tenures included community, residential and educational settings for individuals with developmental disabilities. Throughout her career, she has been a staunch advocate for inclusion of individuals with disabilities and for families.

Celecia Lyew Kong, M.S., BCBA

 Mrs. Celecia Lyew Kong is the Program Director of Behavior Analysis and Therapy Inc. in Southwest Florida and oversees two programs. The Behavioral Education and Therapy Program utilizes behavioral training and support in order to prevent children from entering the foster care system. The Parenting for Success Program provides behavioral training and support to foster families dealing with children who have a history of trauma and abuse.

Celecia received her Master’s degree in Psychology with a specialty in Applied Behavior Analysis from Florida State University. Her interest in behavior analysis began during her undergraduate studies at Florida State University, where she worked on an undergraduate honors thesis with Dr. Jon Bailey focused on decreasing the tantrum behavior of a 5 year old boy using progressive muscle relaxation. During her graduate studies, Celecia worked in a variety of schools in Leon County. Celecia has worked in alternative schools, secondary schools, and elementary schools as well as preschools, developing and training teachers on individualized behavior plans for children exhibiting problem behaviors in the classroom. While in graduate school Celecia developed skill acquisition programs for children with Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD) and supervised other therapists on the teaching techniques for the skill acquisition programs.
