Behavior Analysis, Inc. and its sister company Behavior Analysis and Therapy, Inc. provide state-of-the-art behavioral education, training, treatment and consultation services. We are primarily located in the south Florida area but provide training and consultation services throughout the world. Board Certified Behavior Analyst (Developmental Disabilities)

DESCRIPTION: This position provides behavioral acquisition and reduction services to individuals with autism/developmental disabilities and their families.

RESPONSIBILITIES: Primary responsibilities include conducting functional assessments and analyses, developing behavioral treatment plans, carrying out competency-based parent/staff training, analyzing data, monitoring implementation of treatment plans, adjusting treatment plans, training and supervising other behavioral staff, completing periodic progress reports, and conducting applied behavior analysis workshops and seminars. These positions may require travel within the local area.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS. The candidate will have (a) a minimum of a masters degree from an educational program whose primary emphasis is behavior analysis; (b) one or more years supervised experience developing, training, implementing, and monitoring behavior plans; (c) effective oral and written communication skills; and (d) outstanding social skills.

STARTING SALARY RANGE : $45,000 - $60,000 annually

RESPONSIBILITIES: Primary responsibilities include assisting with functional assessments and analyses, co-authoring behavioral treatment plans, carrying out competency-based parent/staff training on skill acquisition programs, analyzing data, monitoring implementation of treatment plans, and recommending adjustments to treatment plans. These positions are primarily home/school based and require travel within the local area.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS. The candidate will have (a) a minimum of a bachelors degree from an accredited college or university; (b) at least two-semesters (or equivalent) of formal training in applied behavior analysis; (c) one or more years supervised experience carrying out behavioral treatment plans; (c) effective oral and written communication skills; and (d) outstanding social skills.

STARTING SALARY RANGE : $30,000 - $35,OOO annually

Autism (Verbal Behavior) Therapist

DESCRIPTION: This is a part-time position teaching language and academic skills to children with autism using the methods of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). We provide extensive training and supervision to ensure competence.

RESPONSIBILITIES: Primary job duties include (all  of the following activities are completed under the direction and supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst and may require travel):

  • Implementing language and academic programs

  • Collecting individual progress data

  • Maintaining program books

  • Creating teaching materials

  • Discussing session progress with parents

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: The preferred candidate will have (a) at least two years of college, (b) experience working with children, (c) effective oral and written communication skills, and (d) outstanding social skills.

SCHEDULE: The candidate must be able to work at least 10 hours per week and must be available 5 mornings per week or 5 afternoons per week. 

STARTING SALARY: Up to $12 per hour, depending upon experience and education. There are excellent opportunities for advancement and benefits.
