Lorena Arevalo, M.A., BCBA

 

 
Bio
Ms. Arévalo possesses a Master of Arts degree in Clinical Psychology with a specialization in Applied Behavior Analysis from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology.  She is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst.  Lorena currently works as a Behavior Analyst in our Behavioral Education and Therapy program,  a pilot program aimed at foster care prevention. She provides at-risk adolescents and their families with behavioral acquisition and reduction services to both Spanish and English-speaking families. Lorena has experience working with: residential settings for adults with MR/DD, residential service and treatment for psychiatrically ill adults, pediatric brain injury rehabilitation, improved practice performance in youth sports, precision teaching, direct instruction, fluency training, development and implementation of skill acquisition programs, behavior change projects, and data collection systems.
