Bio
Mrs. Ruiz Camacho earned her Masters degree in Exceptional
Education from the University Central Florida in 2001 and in
August of 2007 will graduate from a doctoral program in the
same field of study. She has been working with individuals
with special needs since 1994 in a variety of settings
including private and group homes, organizations, and in the
classroom, where she worked as an exceptional education
teacher of students in the autism spectrum for six years.
Mrs. Ruiz Camacho earned her Board Certification in Behavior
Analysis in 2004 and has worked in the assessment and
treatment of problem behaviors since then. In addition, she
has conducted numerous training workshops in English and
Spanish for families and professionals throughout the United
States. At Behavior Analysis Inc., Mrs. Ruiz Camacho provides
behavioral acquisition and reduction services to individuals
and families at their homes. She is also an active member of
the Florida Association for Behavior Analysis (FABA),
Association of Doctoral Students in Exceptional Education (ADSEE),
Council for Exceptional Children (CEC), Council for Children
with Behavioral Disorders (CCBD), Division on Developmental
Disabilities (DDD), and the Division for Culturally and
Linguistically Diverse Exceptional Learners (DDEL) among other
organizations. Some of her personal interests include
traveling and spending time with her family.
