Celecia Lyew Kong, M.s.,bcbaMrs. Celecia Lyew Kong is the Program Director of Behavior Analysis and Therapy Inc. in Southwest Florida and oversees two programs. The Behavioral Education and Therapy Program utilizes behavioral training and support in order to prevent children from entering the foster care system. The Parenting for Success Program provides behavioral training and support to foster families dealing with children who have a history of trauma and abuse.

Celecia received her Master’s degree in Psychology with a specialty in Applied Behavior Analysis from Florida State University. Her interest in behavior analysis began during her undergraduate studies at Florida State University, where she worked on an undergraduate honors thesis with Dr. Jon Bailey focused on decreasing the tantrum behavior of a 5 year old boy using progressive muscle relaxation. During her graduate studies, Celecia worked in a variety of schools in Leon County. Celecia has worked in alternative schools, secondary schools, and elementary schools as well as preschools, developing and training teachers on individualized behavior plans for children exhibiting problem behaviors in the classroom. While in graduate school Celecia developed skill acquisition programs for children with Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD) and supervised other therapists on the teaching techniques for the skill acquisition programs.
