Gesell Gavidia-layton, M.s.,bcbaMrs. Gesell Gavidia-Layton is the Program Director for our Broward County services. Gesell oversees verbal behavior, skill acquisition, and behavior reduction programs in the Ft. Lauderdale area. She specializes in the assessment and development of verbal behavior and behavior reduction programs and provides training and supervision to our staff and families. Gesell also provides behavior analysis and consulting services to families oversees in the Caribbean and in South America.

Gesell is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst and earned her Master of Science degree in Applied Behavior Analysis from Northeastern University in Boston, Massachusetts. Gesell has worked with children, adolescents, and adults with developmental disabilities in various settings, including center-based, school-based, home-based, and residential settings. Gesell has experience in the assessment and treatment of mild to severe problem behavior, as well as training staff, teachers and families on program implementation. Gesell is also a member of the Florida Association of Behavior Analysis.
